Aromatherapy with Oregano essential oil

The benefits of oregano oil have been well researched and proved due to its wide use since ages.

Oregano has a calming effect on the nerves.

Oregano blends easily with essential oils of rosemary, lavender, chamomile, cedar wood, Cyprus, tea tree, bergamot, and eucalyptus. When blended with olive oil, it is effective for wounds, scars, eczema and for other external therapeutic applications.

Word of caution

Essential oil of oregano should not be used by those who have serious underlying health conditions. It is contradictory with blood thinning medications, and hence, consultation with a physician is necessary. It is best diluted with extra virgin olive oil when used topically. When used extensively, it can cause irritation of the skin. Pregnant women should avoid essential oil of oregano.

So use this with caution, you should be able to purchase an ounce of this for under $20.00

Have a great day,
