Oct. 14th was the opening day for the 2012-13 of of the Tarpon Sunday Market, located at the corner of Alternate 19 and Tarpon Avenue. Although a successful farmers market has become a thing of the past in Tarpon Springs, current market manager Laura Johnson is hoping to trigger a ripple effect of positivity through the Tarpon Sunday Market. Johnson explained that there used to be a thriving weekend market around 2008, but with shifts in the economy and management changes, the market crumbled. It never fully recovered. The Tarpon Sunday Market is thriving. It is hard to believe that we are half way into the season. As Vendor I feel like the other vendors and the regular patrons are family.

Another peek at the Tarpon Sunday Market. The sun is almost always shining, you will not regret stopping by for a visit Sunday, listen to great music.

P.S. this week I will be introducing Strawberry Cheesecake, Snickerdoodle and Spearmint Soy Candles. Next will be a couple more Aromatherapy Scents, and my thoughts are Aromatherapy Lotions, Almond Oil. My favorite of all the Carrier Oils. Almond oil is rich in vitamins A, E and D, and also contains linoleic and oleic acids. It is widely used as a skin care product but can be used in the treatment of some skin disorders as well. Almond oil has many health benefits and can be used on a daily basis. However, one of the downsides is that people allergic to nuts cannot use the product. As well as I will have Aromatherapy Oils for Night Lights also, Essential Oils in GrapeSeed Oil.
