Aromatherapy with Lavandin grosso essential oil

This is a hybrid developed by crossing true lavender with spike lavender which grows wild in areas where true lavender is cultivated or grows wild. The essential oil's aroma is powdery, sweet, floral and herbaceous.

Lavandin Grosso essential oil is closely related to Lavender and shares Lavender’s beautiful scent and therapeutic qualities.  Lavandin Grosso, however, has a slightly less floral and more camphoraceous aroma than Lavender.  Lavandin’s therapeutic applications are not as beneficial as Lavendar’s and it is mainly used in soaps and perfumes.

This is soothing and relaxing, it is the gentlest of the lavandins. It is a wonderful oil to use in a relaxing bath.

Blends well with bergamot, clary sage and lemon.

This is less expensive than other lavender essential oils. You  should expect to pay less than $10 for an ounce of it.
