Today's featured scent is Bayberry

Bayberry

Colonist folklore states that if you light a new bayberry candle on Christmas Eve, you’ll have health, wealth and prosperity in the coming year. The adage reads: A bayberry candle burnt to the socket brings food to the larder and gold to the pocket. It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas! This is a great blend of fir and balsam and delicate spicy undertones of nutmeg and ginger. http://www.aesthetic-candles.com/bayberry

Aesthetic Candles founded in 2011

Our Mission is to create, and sell premium-quality 100% pure soy candles. They are hand poured in Port Richey, Florida. Our candles are created from organic soy candles. We use high quality fragrance oils and pure essential oils. We are careful to us Phthalate-Free fragrances (Hormone-disrupting chemicals). We use cotton wicks. (Burning candles with lead-cored wicks is now known to cause lead poisoning, and there are concerns about zinc-cored wicks as well.)  http://www.aesthetic-candles.com/

Most people who know me, are aware that my husband passed away in June. Unexpected, I came to unplanned fork in the road.  I have not been featuring scents. I know he was proud that I had grown Aesthetic Candles. He would want me to continue. To honor our memories and to find happiness. This what I am trying to do, I am so grateful for the support that I have from the vendors at The MOMs Friday Market and the Hernando County Farmers Markets…my family.

Kevin and Bingo in heaven togethter

At Taken from me during the night, June 19, 2015. We have reached in unexpected fork in the road.

You Never Said Goodbye

 You never said I’m leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why.
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place,
That no one will ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone
For part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.
