Aromatherapy with Cassia essential oil
If you love the aroma of cinnamon essential oil then you are bound to also love its close relative — cassia essential oil.
With a fragrance very similar to cinnamon, it can be used to flavor food and beverages just as cinnamon essential oil would.
Cassia essential oil has the properties to help maintain physical and emotional well being. Cassia is one of the few essential oils mentioned in the Old Testament? Its use can be traced back thousands of years for its fragrance and calming properties.
Cinnamon-like aroma. Because of its content of Carvacrol is considered a skin irritant when applied directly or in massage blend. Should be restricted, perhaps, to soaps only. Blends well with all the spice and citrus oils, geranium and black pepper.
Never use therapeutic quality Essential Oils as a substitute for necessary medical care. Keep oils tightly closed and out of reach of children. Never ingest undiluted essential oils. Don't use undiluted oils on your skin. Dilute oils with vegetable oils, one to three drops per tablespoon.
Keep oils away from eyes and mucous membranes. Skin test oils before using. Dilute a small amount and apply to the skin of your inner arm or back of knee. Do not use if redness or irritation occurs. If redness, burning, itching or irritation occurs, stop using oil immediately. Use less rather than more.
Cassia Essential Oils is one of the lesser expensive essential oils, you should be able to purchase 1 oz for less than $10.00

Aromatherapy with Carrot seed essential oil
Carrot seed oil
may be the most underrated essential oil in aromatherapy, but there’s
nothing but wellness surrounding this powerful detoxifier and skin
rejuvenator.
This essential is simply the best oil for pampering of more mature skin types.
Carrots have been around the Middle East and throughout Europe for centuries. The Greeks and the Romans were well aware of the medicinal properties of the oil from carrots. Vitamin A and carotene were identified by early alchemists who used a mixture of carrot seed oil, bergamot, and lemon oil to treat a variety of skin and stomach disorders. The oil is harvested from wild carrot seeds using steam distillation. The plant is also the source for carrot oil.
This essential is simply the best oil for pampering of more mature skin types.
Carrot Seed Oil is primarily used for its therapeutic
applications within skin care. It is especially heralded and prized
for its ability to nurture mature and damaged skin.
Carrot Seed Oil is generally not appreciated for
its aroma. Some consider it a little unpleasant, especially when
evaluating the aroma at full strength. However, its aroma is mild
when blended with other essential oils and nourishing carrier oils.

Vitamin A and carotene were identified by early alchemists who used a mixture of carrot seed oil, bergamot, and lemon oil to treat a variety of skin and stomach disorders. The oil is harvested from wild carrot seeds using steam distillation. The plant is also the source for carrot oil.
The familiar edible root, which is
unmistakably orange, was actually developed by the Dutch during the 17th
century. The wild flower that Westerners call Queen Anne’s lace, which
decorates bouquets and fills fields with specs of tiny white flowers,
was brought to America by English settlers. The leaves are finely
detailed and the flowers appear in tiny cluster with a purple floret in
the center.
Carrot Seed essential oils,
as the name suggests, are extracted by steam distillation, primarily
from the dried seeds and secondarily from the dried plant itself, of
Wild Carrot, scientifically named as Daucus Carota. Wild Carrot is
common in Europe and is also known by another name “Queen Anne’s Lace”
there.
Carminative: Afraid? Think that you have almost become a balloon? Think that gas in there can lift you up and make you float any moment? If yes? The Carrot Seed oil can keep you glued to the ground. It is widely used in aromatherapy due to its mild and soothing earthy aroma which is very effective in relieving stress and anxiety and gives a refreshing feeling.
Although blending is conditional and there are different blends for
different purposes, Carrot Seed Oil goes well with Bergamot, Juniper,
Lavender, Lemon, Lime, Orange, Avocado, Cedar Wood and Geranium oil.
Have a great Monday,

Aromatherapy with Cajeput essential oil
Cajeput Oil is a must-have oil to keep on hand
for cold and flu season, especially for use in the diffuser. When
well diluted, it can be used topically.
Add to sports and arthritis massage formulas at concentrations between 1
and 5%. Excellent in conjunction with Marjoram, Helichrysum, and
Ginger. May be inhaled from a steaming bowl of water, or diluted and
used as a chest rub for cold care and immune system support.
For cold care: Similar to Eucalyptus, Cajeput can be used in a steam inhalation preparation, supporting clearing of the sinus and nasal passages. The potential pain-relieving action may support relief from a sore throat, and may generally assist in clearing up mucus from the bronchial passages.
Some authorities say it is an effective insect repellant. It is the BEST immediate first aid for fire ant bites, for those who live where those pests are prevalent.
General Safety Information: Do not take any essential oils internally without consultation from a qualified aromatherapy practitioner. Do not apply undiluted essential oils, absolutes, CO2s or other concentrated essences onto the skin. If you are pregnant, epileptic, have liver damage, have cancer, or have any other medical problem, use essential oils only under the proper guidance of a qualified aromatherapy practitioner. Use extreme caution when using oils with children and give children only the gentlest oils at extremely low doses. It is safest to consult a qualified aromatherapy practitioner before using essential oils with children.
Blends Well With: Clary sage, geranium, lavender, marjoram, oakmoss, pine, rosemary, spice oils, ylang ylang
This is one if the lesser expensive essential oils, you should be able to purchase an ounce for less than $10.00

Cajeput (Melaleuca leucadendron) is a relative
to Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia).
Aromatically, Cajeput Oil is quite campherous
but possesses a fresh, uplifting, fruity quality.
Cajeput essential oil has an absolutely wonderful stimulating aroma, like a slightly fruity Eucalyptus. The oil seems to combine many of the traits of Tea Tree and Eucalyptus in one.
Traditional use has been for the prevention and treatment of colds and flu. Similar to Eucalyptus, it may jump start the immune system, and can be an excellent addition to blends and practices for preventing bronchial or sinus-related illnesses.

Aromatherapy with Black pepper essential oil
The aroma of Black Pepper Essential Oil is reminiscent
to freshly ground peppercorns, but it is a bit more complex with
hints of green and perhaps a bit of floral. Black pepper Oil has
one major advantage: it doesn't irritate your eyes or make you sneeze
like ground peppercorns can.
The oil is made from the unripe red fruit of the plant, while white pepper for household use, is made from the same fruit, but the berry is picked when fully ripe and the outside layer (pericarp) is removed before drying
This warming oil can be used to great effect to help circulation and
bruising and specifically to help with muscle tone, aching limbs and
rheumatoid arthritis. It further helps to promote digestion, the colon
as well as the kidneys.
In her book Aromatherapy Science, Maria Lis-Balchin mentions a small study that may indicate that cigarette cravings may be decreased by inhaling Black Pepper Essential Oil.
Black Pepper Essential Oil should be in the $25.00 per ounce price range.

Aromatically, Black Pepper Oil is not one that
I ever use in a diffuser or blend on its own, but it really helps
to perk up and add heat and spice to your blends. It is a middle
note and can help to bring together fleeting top notes and heavy
base notes. Black Pepper Oil blends well with most other essential
oils including other spice oils, citrus and floral oils.
- Burners and vaporizers
- In vapor therapy, black pepper oil can be used to help add warmth to chills and colds and to create an atmosphere of 'getting things done'.
- Blended oil or in the bath
- Black pepper oil can be used in blended massage oil, or diluted in a bath, to assist with circulation, bruises, rheumatoid arthritis and muscular aches and pains.
- Blended in base cream
- As a constituent in a blended cream is can be used for tired aching limbs, sore muscles, rheumatoid arthritis, stimulating the appetite and to help sort out bowel problems. In small quantities it can be used to reduce high temperatures. It increases circulation to the skin and is therefore helpful in restoring proper functioning of the skin.
Black pepper blends well with
Although essential oils blend and mix well aroma wise with one another, Black Pepper oil does go very well with other essential oils such as bergamot, clary sage, clove, coriander, fennel, frankincense, geranium, ginger, grapefruit, lavender, juniper, lemon, lime, mandarin, sage, sandalwood and ylang-ylang.In her book Aromatherapy Science, Maria Lis-Balchin mentions a small study that may indicate that cigarette cravings may be decreased by inhaling Black Pepper Essential Oil.

Aromatherapy with Birch essential oil
Birch and Wintergreen essential oils have the same therapeutic actions,
and virtually the same chemical compositions. Though as much of the
Wintergreen oil made today is produced on a mass scale, we're offering
this wonderful true Adirondack Sweet Birch Bark essential oil.
Use as you would Wintergreen oil in your formulas. We enjoy the aroma
of the Sweet Birch more than the Wintergreen, as it offers a bit more
complexity in this sweet, bright scent.
Antidepressant & Stimulant: Birch Oil is stimulant by nature. It stimulates nervous system, circulatory system, digestive system and the excretory system. It also stimulates the endocrinal glands resulting in more secretions of enzymes and hormones etc. This can play a beneficial role in diseases associated with improper secretion of hormones such as, diabetes, where the enhanced insulin production will help lower the blood sugar level.
Analgesic & Antispasmodic: It is helpful in reducing pains of joints, muscles, headache, toothache etc. It is also anti spasmodic and relieves cramps.
Caution: The essential oil of Birch, being made up almost exclusively of methyl salicylate, a precursor to common aspirin; Birch should NOT be used by people who are allergic to aspirin. Further, Birch should NEVER be ingested, and only used topically in dilutions of 25% or less to limit the transdermal absorption to safe levels. The salicylates pass through the skin, entering the tissues to inhibit the formation of prostaglandins, thereby reducing inflammation and pain.
Birch Essential oil gives you the feeling of strength, warmth and vitality. It is ideal for use in extremely cold climates.
This is one for least expensive essential oils, you and Under $10 per ounce. Only use this essential under the guidance of a Certified Aromatherapist.

Aromatherapy with Bay Leaf Essential Oil
Bay is an evergreen tree that is native to
the West Indies, Venezuela and the Guianas. The bay tree grows to a
height of 30 feet and bears aromatic, long-pointed leaves, small
white/yellow flowers and black berries. Bay is also known as bay rum
tree or West Indian bay, which distinguishes it from bay laurel, which
tends to be used less often for aromatherapy.
Bay has a strong, fresh, spicy, medicinal, herbaceous aroma.
Bay has been used since ancient times. The Romans believed it symbolised wisdom, peace and protection and in ancient Greece athletes were crowned with Bay leaf wreaths.
An infused oil of bay has a long history of use as a pain reliever for arthritic aches and pains, lower back pain, earaches, and sore muscles and sprains. Aromatic and slightly bitter, spicy, sweet, medicinal. Blends well with Pine, Cypress and Juniper, Lavender. Frankincense and Clary Sage would be good partners in a spiritual/meditative blend. Combine it with Rosemary for an high-powered study blend. Citrus oils and other spices are also very nice. Please use in moderation, since it is easily overpowering other aromas and can make you feel drowsy. Country of Origin-France
Bay is both uplifting and grounding and can help clear mental confusion and fatigue and provide clarity of thought.

Aromatherapy with Basil (sweet) essential oil
Basil, Sweet – There are many types of
basil: linalool basil, exotic basil and sweet basil. The odor of the
linalool type is very green, floral-sweet and is most often used in
expensive perfumes.
The exotic type of basil is stronger with a hint of camphor. Frontier's sweet basil type combines both qualities in a floral-spicy aroma with a lasting herbal sweetness. Clary sage, bergamot and lime oil work well with basil oil. Aromatherapy benefits: clarifying, uplifting, energizing, refreshing.
Try diffusing to dispel after-lunch lethargy.
Warm and spicy aromatic scent that’s rich in camphor Sweet Basil oil smells like the fresh herb. Basil helps you to clear your mind and focus your attention. Use it alone or in a blend when you need to be alert.
Sweet Basil can provide you with a pronounced increase in your ability to be mentally alert when driving late at night, studying for an exam, or in any situation where your prolonged focus or need to retain information is required.
Sweet Basil essential oil’s stimulating properties help ease sinus congestion and may also help restore loss of smell due to chronic nasal catarrh.
Basil supports self-expression and feeling secure and has a stabilizing and fortifying effect on the nervous system. Basil may relieve fear, sadness, weak nerves and melancholia.
This is one of the less expensive essential oils, you should be able to purchase 2 ounces for less that $10.00

Aromatherapy with Anise Seed essential oil
Anise Seed is indigenous to Eastern
Mediterranean (Greece, Egypt) and western Asia. Now widely cultivated
mainly in Spain, India, Europe, Russia, Mexico, Egypt.
Has a clean sweet top note, with a strong anisic (licorice-like) middle note. Lightly tenacious with a woody-anethole dry out.
Anise seed essential oil is cheering, mildly euphoric, sense enhancing. Anise Seed has experienced a multitude of uses during the course of history. It was used to perfume the clothing of King Edward IV, as a food flavoring during the Middle Ages, and to fund repairs on the London Bridge, for which a special tax was added to the sale of anise seed. Pliny the Elder, author of the first encyclopedia, claimed its seeds had the power to prevent bad dreams if placed beneath the sleeper’s pillow. Anise seed (or aniseed) is a member of the parsley family, and its flavor resembles licorice. Used medicinally since prehistoric times, anise seed remains a staple in aromatherapy. For pleasant dreams, mix with chamomile and use in a diffuser.
Anise Seed also blends well with: Lavender, rose, orange, pine. Safety Data: May be an eye/skin irritant. Avoid during pregnancy.
Anise Seed is one of the more inexpensive oils, under $10.00 per ounce

Aromatherapy with Amyris essential oil
Local fisherman and traders call it “candlewood” because of its high oil content and common use as a torch. The aroma is soft, woody, warm, musty. It blends well with Cedarwood, citronella, ginger, ho wood, lavender, oakmoss, peru balsam, ylang ylang.
Amyris' woody, balsamic aroma is relaxing and calming to the nerves. Its cooling action also helps to relieve frustration as well as general stress and irritability. The scent is both uplifting and soothing with a strong anti-inflammatory action. This oil both slows the aging process and regenerates the skin, making it an excellent choice for facial care blends.
By helping us to see the unfolding of the natural magic of life, Amyris' transformative energy saturates the auric field with creativity, health and abundance. Amyris restores a natural, innocent outlook on life, bringing joy and laughter to our hearts and assisting us in making choices that uplift and nourish, thus encouraging love for ourselves and the world as a whole.
Amyris, also known as 'West Indian Sandalwood,' is a great choice for use as a base note fixative oil. Commonly found in soaps and other 'Sandalwood' products in place of 'true' Sandalwood, Amyris supports vibrant physical health by helping to remove physical and etheric toxins that congest and distort the body. An alternative choice in place of the endangered 'true' Sandalwood, Amyris is a healthy, inexpensive and sustainable substitute in many aromatherapy applications.
An ounce of Amyris Essential Oils should be less than $10.00

Aromatherapy with Allspice essential oil
The warm, spicy aroma of Allspice
Essential Oil is similar to that of clove and cinnamon essential
oils. The high content of Eugenol is partly responsible for this
similarity. Allspice Oil is a wonderful oil to
use in the diffuser during the fall and winter.
Although this oil is not one of the most popular oils in aromatherapy, it does offer a good range of therapeutic properties, and is a very nice "warming" oil - especially useful in rheumatism, chest complaints and to combat stress and depression.
Allspice oil (from both the leaf and the fruit) is extracted by steam distillation. Allspice oil should only be used in low dilutions, if you are following my blogs. Essential oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil; there are several and also never taken orally with out consult with a certified Aromatherapist.
This a another lpwer priced essential oil, you should be able to find this in the $15.00 price ranged.

Aromatherapy with Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
Ylang Ylang's fragrance has the ability to relax, increase sensuality, and create a sense of well being. The calming effect on the mind helps to calm frayed nerves.
It elevates the spirit and consoles the heart. Ylang ylang extra has an intense floral, sweet, jasmine-like, almost narcotic sensual, euphoric aroma, perfect for loving massages. It is commonly used to lift depressive states, and address poor circulation. Ylang-ylang helps to keep hair and skin healthy. Add ylang-ylang oil to blends for a sweet, intense floral note. Depending on the origin of the essential oil you this should be in the $15 to $20 range for an ounce.
Did you know there are approximately 70,000 synthetic chemicals now used in commercial products? What health consequences do these chemicals pose with daily exposure? Use essential oils as an alternative to these products for everyday health and well being. A few words of caution - with the exception of lavender and tea tree, essential oils should never be applied undiluted, directly to your skin. Handle with care and feel good that you are helping yourself, your family, and your environment.

Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanoides) has a heavy, earthy fragrance similar to
patchouli with a touch of lemon. Vetiver oil is psychologically
grounding, calming, and stabilizing.
Vetiver for emotional, spiritual and as a fragrance. Emotionally, Vetiver Essential Oil is remarkably soothing and calming. It is a good choice for use if you need to unwind or destress.
Vetiver Oil is useful for anxiety, addressing anger, fighting burnout/exhaustion and coping with fear or insecurity.
Spirtually, I find Vetiver to be
especially grounding. As it is also quite calming, it is a good
choice for meditation and prayer.
This is Mid Range Priced Essential Oil, you should expect to pay around $15 for an ounce.

Aromatherapy with Sage Essential Oil
Sage Essential Oil is used to strengthen the seven vital centers of the body and may help relieve depression and mental fatigue.
There are over 700 different species of Sage and there are two chemotypes. Many companies may use a substitute species or a combination of species that may not offer the therapeutic benefit you are looking for.
Remember, even though they may share some similar properties they are used for different purposes.
Where is the name derived from? Sage is derived from Latin word “salvia” meaning “to heal”.
It is mentally stimulating. Strong scent, spicy and herbaceous.
Sage has been used for thousands of years to induce trance states and enhance spiritual awareness. It brings about purification and cleansing of our life patterns, particularly those where we are self defeating.
During this process, we surrender to spirit and allow the wisdom of our elders, that we all possess, to support us on our path and to change our beliefs that no longer serve us. Sage oil also offers us protection and the comfort level we need to permit this process to enfold.
This is a well price essential oil, you should be able to purchase it for about $10.00 for an ounce. Remember with Essential Oils, NEVER take internally unless you were advise by an Aromatherapist. If you are applying it to your skin, it must be diluted with a carrier oil.

Aromatherapy with Palmarosa Essential Oil
Palma Rosa is a grass whose botanical name is Cymbopogon Martini. It has
two varieties (also called chemotypes), namely, Motia & Sofia,
which differ slightly in their aroma.
Extraction of essential oil is done by steam distillation of dried grass which is harvested before flowering.
This oil smells like Rose Oil and hence got its name Palma Rosa. This is why it is sometimes used in place of Rose Oil.
Palmarosa Essential Oil fights depression, fatigue, anxiety, anger and nervousness and has an uplifting effect on the mind.
This is a well priced Essential Oil.

Aromatherapy with Jasmine oil
Jasmine has a warm, exotic, floral fragrance that relaxes, soothes, uplifts, and enhances self-confidence. Jasmine has properties of love and peace and can aid in bringing sleep and dreams. It is an antidepressant and is therefore beneficial to many problems that can arise from fear, depression, anxiety and tension.
Jasmine is an absolute. Aromatherapy absolutes are much like essential oils, because they are both extracted from plants. However, the
method used during the extraction process is much different from that of the essential oil. The extraction process is different, a Solvent extraction. This is one of the more expensive Aromatherapy Oils, if you find it for less than $100 for an ounce, question the purity.

Are you looking for a candle to burn that will fill your home with delicious aromas but won't break the bank. Our Mission is to create, produce, and sell premium-quality 100% pure soy candles, no additives. They are hand poured in Port Richey, Florida. We are dedicated to conducting ourselves as a local candle crafter, not a manufacturer, but with an extended reach because of the internet. Aromatherapy with Cinnamon Essential Oil
Cinnamon Essential Oil is much
richer in aroma than ground cinnamon.
Blend Cinnamon essential oil with other fragrances such as Frankincense, Hyssop, or another favorite with olive oil and apply to a handkerchief to carry with you and inhale as necessary on airplane flights.
Cinnamon essential oil is derived
from distilling a certain tropical plant's bark or leaves, but only oil from
the leaves should be used on the skin as the bark oil causes severe skin
irritation.
Did you know diffusing a blend of cinnamon,
clove, eucalyptus, lemon, and rosemary oils can kill 99% of airborne
bacteria in 12 minutes?
This oils you as a candle or in carrier
oil in a diffuser help you when you are tired or exhausted, it is also calming,
but helps with mental clarity. Researchers found just having the scent in a
room helps to reduces drowsiness, irritability and the pain and frequency of
headaches.
Cinnamon essential oil can be used to
help fight viral, fungal and bacterial illnesses and to boost the immune
system, diffuse in the kitchen. Wipe kitchen sinks down with Cinnamon
essential oil to kill virus or bacteria growth.
Blend Cinnamon essential oil with other fragrances such as Frankincense, Hyssop, or another favorite with olive oil and apply to a handkerchief to carry with you and inhale as necessary on airplane flights.
Diffuse Cinnamon essential oil in
the home or office to lift spirits. Cinnamon essential oil is known to be
a natural antidepressant.
As a general immunity
stimulant, add a few drops of Cinnamon essential oil to a pan of water and
simmer to fill your home with its warm aroma.
Cinnamon Essential is
one of the less expensive essential oil. In a candle the aroma is very different
from Cinnamon fragrance oils but the aroma will naturally lift your spirits and
reduce drowsiness.
