Aromatherapy with Cornmint essential oil

Cornmint essential oil, Its aroma is strong, fresh and somewhat bittersweet. It is widely used in flavoring toothpastes, mouthwashes and pharmaceuticals. This oil is good for the nervous system acting as a regulator and sedative.



Cornmint is called peppermint except in the United States. Menthol crystals are a byproduct of distillation. Cornmint essential oil can be used in place of peppermint essential oil. This plant is often confused with peppermint. The oil is also used as a source of natural menthol.

Cornmint  helps to stimulate the mind and improve concentration, mental agility and focus. It is beneficial for treating mental fatigue and depression, helping to stimulate the spirit and alleviate feelings of negativity and insecurity.


Blends Well With: Basil, benzoin, black pepper, cypress, eucalyptus, geranium, grapefruit, juniper, lavender, lemon, marjoram, naiouli, pine, ravensara, rosemary, tea tree
